Our standards
Radiant Food Journal aims to make food writing clear, careful and enjoyable to read. We explain what we know, make uncertainty visible and take responsibility when something needs correcting.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable references before publication and review names, terms and context with care. When a subject has several interpretations or differs across communities, we say so. Our articles offer general information and cultural context, not professional food safety, nutrition or medical advice.
Independence
Editorial decisions are guided by relevance to readers and fit with our coverage. A partnership or commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage, and editorial work is kept distinct from paid promotion.
Corrections
If a reader identifies a factual error or a meaningful omission, we review the concern and correct the page when warranted. Significant changes should be made clear in the article so readers can understand what changed.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid, gifted or partner-supported material is identified clearly where it appears. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where an illustration is AI-generated, we label it. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
Good food starts with curiosity
A meal is more than a list of ingredients. We look closely at the choices, skills and shared traditions that give food its character.
